Application for Reservation

Q. How many days prior to my stay can I make a reservation ?

A. Usually, you can make a reservation 90 days in advance, however, this is different from hotel to hotel. For lodging that falls outside of the period when reservations are accepted on the Internet, we ask that you please make reservations by telephone.

Q. Can I make reservations of today ?

A. Depending on room availability, there are hotels that accept reservations for tonight. Even when rooms may not be available on the Internet, there may be vacancies available if you contact the hotel directly by telephone.

Q. Is it necessary to tell my credit card number in order to make a reservation ?

A. You are not required to tell your credit card number when making a reservation.

Q. Is a password necessary when making a reservation ?

A. You can make reservations without a password. A password is necessary when retrieving "Repeat Entry" user's information. Individuals who have not registered Repeat Entry user's information may make reservations without a password.

Q. I would like to change the date of my stay and the number of people staying.

A. We request that you cancel the unnecessary reservation and make a new one on the Internet. Or, you may directly telephone the hotel where you will be staying. After a change of reservation, the same rate and room may not apply. Also, please understand that the hotel may not be able to provide you with a room, depending on availability.

Q. A confirmation e-mail has not arrived, even though I reserved a room.

A. It is possible that the e-mail address that you entered at the time of reservation is wrong. If you would like to confirm your reservation, or cancel it, you may contact the hotel at which you made the reservation by telephone, e-mail, etc. and it will be checked for you. (The hotel will ask for the reservation date, your name, as well as telephone number and other information.) Please note that, depending on transmission status, it may take time for the confirmation e-mail to arrive. Please try to confirm receipt of the e-mail after allowing for some time to pass.

Confirmation and Cancellation of Reservations

Q. I would like to confirm my reservation.

At the top page, please click on the hotel at which you made a reservation. Click the Confirmations & Cancellations. Enter your reservation number and e-mail address and click "Next". (The reservation number is included in the e-mail that was automatically sent after confirmation of reservation.) The current reservation information is displayed.

Q. I would like to cancel a reservation.

Q. At the top page, please click on the hotel at which you wish to cancel a reservation. Click the onfirmations & Cancellations. Enter your reservation number and e-mail address and click "Next". (The reservation number is included in the e-mail that was automatically sent after confirmation of reservation.) The present reservation information will be displayed, so please confirm it and click "Confirm". A confirmation e-mail will be sent automatically. We request that you please be certain to follow the cancellation procedure when you wish to cancel your reservation.

Q. An error occurred when I tried to confirm or cancel a reservation.

Q. The message "The E-mail address is not correct." message is displayed.
It is possible that you entered the wrong e-mail address when you made your reservation. In this case, you cannot confirm or cancel a reservation on the web. Please contact the hotel where you made your reservation by e-mail or telephone. Also, a distinction is made between capitals and lower-case letters at authentication, so please confirm that there is no difference between your input and the lower/upper case input used at the time the reservation was made.
The message "The input reservation number does not exist." message is displayed.
This message is displayed when no reservation number exists, when the hotel at which the reservation was made is different, or when the reservation has already been cancelled. If the message is displayed even though the reservation has not been cancelled, the reservation number has perhaps been input wrongly. Please be careful when inputting the reservation number. The dash mark "-" cannot be omitted.

Q. Am I not able to make a reservation at the Washington Hotel Plaza?

A. We are terribly sorry, however, on this site you may only make reservations for the "Washington Hotels". For reservations with the "Washington Hotel Plaza", please visit WH-AT.COM(Japanese Language Only)

Rates

Q. How are rates determined ?

A. Rates are determined by the day at each facility, on the basis of date and room availability. Depending on demand, there may be fluctuations in rates. We ask for your understanding.

Q. Which is cheaper, making reservations by Internet or by telephone?

A. With the exception of days on which there is heavy demand, a special rate has been set for Internet reservations, which means that, in most cases, Internet reservations are cheaper than telephone reservations. However, depending on room availability, there are days when no discounts will be offered.

Q. Can I use discount coupons ?

A. Discount coupons, as well as complimentary coupons and special offers (invitations, etc.) are not accepted for reservations on the Internet. Please inquire at the hotel where a reservation has been made in order to confirm whether discount coupons are applicable to a reservation made through the Internet. Please note that, days on which Internet discounts are applicable, no other discounts may be used.

Repeat Entry Service

Q. What is "Repeat Entry Service"?

A. "Repeat Entry Service" allows for the registration of User information so that the inconvenience of inputting your name and address for subsequent reservations is minimized. By setting whichever password you would like at the time of registration, you can register your information.

Q. An error occurred at login.

A. In the event that the e-mail address or password input is wrong, or has not been registered, the "Repeater Confirm Error" message will be displayed. Please confirm that there are no input errors or stray spaces. Also, please be careful with lower and upper case letters, as the system is case-sensitive.
